Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-10-05
This site is run by Niranjan Bajgai. The short version: what you type into the tools stays on your device, and we collect as little as we can.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter in a tool, such as your business details, logo, client names, addresses and prices, is saved in your browser's local storage so it is there next time. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it.
When you buy Pro
Checkout is handled by Stripe, which collects your payment details. Stripe shares with us your name, email address, country, the amount paid and whether the payment succeeded. We never see your full card number. We use this information to issue your license key, answer support requests, process refunds and keep the records that tax and accounting law require. Your license key contains your email address and a purchase reference so that it can be checked without an account. See Stripe's privacy policy.
When you start checkout, a random ID stored in your browser and the site that referred you (for example a search engine or a forum) are attached to the purchase so we can see which channels lead to sales.
Usage events
To improve the tools, the site sends a few simple events, such as opening a tool, starting to use it, opening checkout or downloading a PDF. An event records the tool, the referring site and your approximate country, which our host derives from your IP address. Events never include what you type into a tool. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and keeps technical logs for a short time.
Sharing
We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named here (Stripe and Cloudflare), when the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Usage events are kept for no more than 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@plainworktools.com. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights too, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
The site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
