Terms of Sale and Use

Last updated 2026-10-05

These terms cover your use of the Plainwork tools on this website and any Pro license you buy. The site is run by Niranjan Bajgai ("we", "us"), based in Alberta, Canada. By using the site or buying a license, you agree to these terms.

1. The tools

You can use the free version of each tool without an account. Calculations, templates and documents are starting points for your own decisions. You are responsible for checking them and for the prices you charge, the contracts you sign and the procedures you use.

2. Pro licenses

3. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars and may not include taxes that apply where you live. Our refund policy gives you 14 days to ask for your money back.

4. Not professional advice

Contract templates, safety procedures, schedules and calculations are general information. They are not legal, safety, engineering, tax or financial advice. Laws and regulations differ by location, so have important documents reviewed by a qualified professional before you rely on them.

5. Your content

What you type into the tools is saved in your browser and stays yours. We do not receive it. See our privacy policy.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, for example by attacking it, overloading it or trying to get around the license checks.

7. No warranty

The tools are provided "as is". We work to keep them accurate and available, but we do not promise they are free of errors or always available.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the site or the tools is limited to the amount you paid us for the license in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost contracts or lost data. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not affect purchases made before that date.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Nothing in them limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
